Three tasks for paper processing
Here, paper processing is undoubtedly in demand. Three tasks have to be handled: the processing of wide paper webs, mastery of increasingly high speeds and full colour printing.
But print quality must always be guaranteed right through to the finished product.
"Huncolor" colour capability
With its POPP6 generation, Hunkeler has been ready to meet these new challenges for a number of years. The "huncolor ready" quality label points to the full colour capability of the
POPP6 modules. That quality refers both to the product design possibilities (trimming with variable cutouts in the CS6-II cutting module for all round offcut printing) and the perfect, smear free processing of all standard commercial printing materials from lightweight papers to 300 gram semi-carton.

POPP7 ready for the future
The successful POPP6 concept for the 20 inch format has now been transferred to the new POPP7-Generation for up to 30 inch wide paper webs. With this move up to the next higher dimension, Hunkeler has again taken a progressive step and further extended its lead on the
market. As the first supplier, the Swiss company is now already able to meet the stringent criteria of wide web printing systems. Hunkeler is presenting that performance capability with a roll to roll solution on a new inkjet printing system of the high performance class.

One thing is clear: Ipex 2010 will be another milestone in the advancing development of paper processing and on the route from classical techniques to digital printing.
